Anne-Christin is a finance professional and committed social entrepreneur, dedicated to championing social equity, furthering entrepreneurship, and promoting financial inclusion. Her fervor extends to advancing holistic well-being for all, through the integration of ancient practices with cutting-edge wellness innovations.
Prior to joining Known, where she currently helps to oversee investor relations for the Known/Living Cities Catalyst Fund III, she supported the development of Living Cities’ third fund. Her background spans a Big Four accounting firm, prominent private equity and real estate investment firms, a global tech leader, seed-stage startups, angel networks, and an early-stage venture capital fund focused on gender and social equity.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Anne-Christin has been deeply engaged in various social impact endeavors. She has partnered with refugee organizations, supported immigrant families, and played a key role in the creation and scaling of startups like Essen ohne Kohlenhydrate and Echo (formerly Audacity Labs). Alongside her brother, she cultivated a community exceeding 1 million members, successfully developing and selling proprietary products to more than 300,000 customers. Additionally, she developed a platform to democratize alternative medicine. Serving as founding member and CFO, she took charge of developing and leading a lean-startup cohort for a Duram-based incubator for high-school students.
Anne-Christin holds an MBA with a concentration in Investment Finance and a Management Science and Technology certificate from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. During her time there, she served as co-president of the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club (EVCC), closely collaborating with investor groups, entrepreneurs, and faculty. As a mentor for entrepreneurs, she further demonstrated her commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth.
