Lee joined Known in 2023 as Senior Associate in connection with the joint venture with Living Cities and was promoted to Associate Director in 2025. She has worked on the Living Cities Catalyst Family of Funds, performing the ongoing portfolio management, asset management, reporting, and investor relations of Blended Catalyst Fund. Additionally, she manages the investment pipeline and conducts diligence and underwriting for private alternative investments at Known.
While at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Lee worked with the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship as a co-led of the Fellows program and on the small business lending team at Self-Help Credit Union where she focused on two projects: (i) building business operations tools to aid North Carolina child care centers during the uncertainty of COVID-19; and (ii) performing a racial equity audit of the child care lending portfolio in comparison to the entire small business lending portfolio.
Lee began her career with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where she raised over $11.5M annually from corporations, foundations, and government entities. She also worked on the Kennedy Center’s $250M capital campaign, developing the strategy as well as cultivating and soliciting corporate donations.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Davidson College and an MBA with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
