Valerie Red-Horse Mohl Named President of Known Holdings

Celebrated Finance and Investment Banking Leader Joins All-Star Leadership Team

Valerie Red-Horse Mohl, a groundbreaking Wall Street leader and long-time ethical investing advocate, has been named President of Known Holdings, a finance company that manages assets, while deploying, structuring and shifting capital to fuel the next economy and close the racial wealth gap.

Red-Horse Mohl is a luminary in financial services, asset management and investment banking. She was the first Native American to start an investment bank on Wall Street, with a storied career financing and managing assets for tribal nations throughout the continental US, among many others. Her new role follows her tenure as the CFO of Black-led, 95-year-old East Bay Community Foundation (EBCF), where she is proud to have led the efforts of portfolio investment mission alignment and racial equity/justice prioritization for their assets under management of approximately $800 million.
