Joseph Ironhawk Little (Oglala Lakota and Gabrieleno Tongva) has experience in data science, research development, and coalition building. Prior to joining Known, Joseph served as the Data and Research Associate at Native Americans in Philanthropy, an Indigenous-led nonprofit focused on increasing philanthropic investments into Indigenous communities. He serves on the Native Voices Rising grant review board, a partnership between Native Americans in Philanthropy and Common Counsel Foundation.Â
Joseph has held positions as an Indigenous Philanthropy Fellow for Native Americans in Philanthropy, a Policy Fellow for the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, and as a Marketplace Capacity Analyst Intern for Nike N7 at Nike, Inc.Â
He received his BA degree in Public Policy from Stanford University.
