Chipo Sachirarwe

Chipo has over 20 years working with public, private corporate and venture backed companies, focused on using the power of capital systems to create the future all children deserve.

As the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Blk Grvty, she leads a research and innovation enterprise working to create a world where Black people and others from the New Majority in the US are wealthy and well. She curates, capitalizes and catalyzes opportunities to fuel the supply side of capital, with a particular focus on general partners, angel investors and business ecosystem builders.

After beginning her career at Arthur Andersen, she moved to business consulting and private industry roles, including posts at Fox Sports and Universal Music Group.  At Universal, she drove financial discipline for over a decade, beginning with what was at the time the largest M&A deal in music. She co-founded a NY retail, design, and gallery space and consulted on various start-ups.

Chipo is an accomplished Senior Executive, Entrepreneur, Finance and Operations Advisor, Community Advocate, Board Member, with years of success in start-up, tech, SaaS, professional services, communications, and media entertainment industries. She is an ardent strategic leader with years of experience building teams, systems, and processes in organizations. She provides leadership across strategic execution, finance, HR, IT, and legal operations. She is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Southern California.
